Comprehensive Treatment that works
Treatment for Cluster Headaches
Sounds too good to be true, right?
Our approach is 2-fold:
#1 - Address any internal issues that are contributing to pain. This would include addressing the endocrine system, immune system, and any other aspects of inflammation or physiology that can perpetuate pain. We typically use some very specific supplements that last about 2-4 months.
#2 - Perform cluster headache specific therapies in the office over an 8-12 week time frame. These non-drug neuromodulation therapies are designed to block pain, and in time - rewire your cluster headache circuitry to prevent it from coming back. When done properly, the results are long lasting with only occasional maintenance required. The treatments we perform target multiple nerve systems that can effectively 'reboot' your system, all without drugs or surgery. After the active phase of treatment, we stay vigilant around the usual cluster periods, and address any symptoms that might happen to arise.
We get it, you've been to other doctors who gave you false hope, and you got let down. We here that all the time. But our approach at the Headache Freedom Center is totally unique.
We understand how severe cluster headaches are, it's no joke. It's also NOT migraines. You've probably had your cluster headaches equated with migraines, maybe even by some doctors! We know the difference. And we can help. We know you're living in fear of the beast, and skeptical that there is truly a treatment that can help. That's why we're willing to prove it to you. Mention this webpage, and we'll waive the initial consultation fee, just to show you how we can help. There's nothing to loose but the pain!
Many women experience significant issues with their menstrual cycle. There can be excessive bleeding and cramping, prolonged days of bleeding, starting and stopping, irregular cycling, fibroids or endometriosis, and the headaches and migraines are significantly worse. Many of our menstrual migraines patients tell us how the hormonal migraines are more extreme in intensity of pain, and do not respond as well to the medications as other times of the month.
If any of these symptoms sound familiar, there's hope!
Most patients can feel changes in their symptoms right away!
Many of our cluster headache patients have undiagnosed viral infections that can play havoc in their nerves. This 'internal irritation' causes extreme pain flare ups, which can come and go over the months and years. Other patients we've seen have head trauma to the head which brought on the pain.
Most, if not all, of our patients will undergo diagnostic blood work to potentially uncover factors involved in their pain. This especially true for cluster headaches, when other doctors have failed to look deeper, or when underlying causes have yet to be identified. The results of your blood work will help shed light on what is happening inside, and what can be done to make it better.
